HR

We’re a partnership in TSB. That means we’re all responsible for the success of our business. So making sure we build a workplace and culture where Partners can be themselves, work collaboratively and be paid fairly and transparently is key.

Our Partners across HR are passionate about making TSB a great place to work for everyone. Made up of several different teams, from Talent and Resourcing, Reward and Performance to Learning & Development and Business Partnering. Not forgetting our brilliant Shared Services Partners who keep us running. The teams all come together to support leaders across our business and shape TSB’s culture.


Learning & Development

Based all over the UK, our Learning and Development team make sure our TSB Partners have the skills they need to do their job whilst bringing our values to life every day. From TSB Welcome events for our new Partners, supporting strategic projects, to designing and maintaining a wealth of learning materials the team are always looking for new ways to embrace new technologies and ways of learning. All of this whilst also managing Partner engagement and driving our Great Place to Work activity.


Reward & Performance

Our Reward experts look after all the different elements of our reward package including pay, bonus and benefits such as pensions, company cars, flex, share plans and private medical cover. Designing and delivering our overall reward strategy, they also work closely with regulators and make sure our package is competitive and contributing to industry best practice.

The team also look after Performance Management. This means making sure managers and Partners have all the tools, templates, guidance and learning materials they need to help our Partners work to the very best of their ability for our customers. 


Talent & Resourcing

Based across our key sites, the resourcing team work closely with all areas of TSB, making sure we’re attracting and recruiting the very best people for our business. The team supports all types of recruitment needs including senior and specialist recruitment, as well as temporary workers and contractors. 

Our Talent team are focused on growing our future innovators and leaders. Working with managers and our HR Business Partners to identify, challenge and support our talented Partners is really important for us. And of course making sure we’re able to attract and retain the very best people. 

Our Diversity & Inclusion team couldn’t be more passionate about the work they're doing with a network of champions across TSB to build an inclusive culture, where everyone can come to work, be themselves and be the best they can be. We know that by doing this, TSB Partners will feel valued, and when people feel valued they add value to our business and make a positive difference for our customers.


Business Partnering & Employee Relations

Our HR Business Partners are based all over the UK and are aligned to each of our business areas. Providing strategic, relationship-based support to our senior leaders, they’re there to help develop people strategies, implement people processes and manage change. 

Our Employee Relations team are there to keep us on track, designing and delivering our HR policies, working closely with our union partners, making sure we’re always up to date and helping us strive for best practice.


Shared Services

Our HR Shared Services Partners are based in Edinburgh, providing support directly to our managers and Partners across TSB. The team offers a wide range of services, from Payroll, HR telephony and online support, to people data, MI and all our HR risk management and reporting.
