Customer Assistants

Customer Assistants - Branch Network

We’re proud to be back on over 630 high streets right across Britain.

At the heart of our Branch Network are our Customer Assistants, delivering simple, straightforward and transparent banking to local customers and local businesses. We’re always recruiting people like you to provide friendly, quick and polite service – just what our customers want.

Whether you’re greeting people at the welcome desk or serving them at the counter. We have plenty of products on offer and you’ll soon become an expert on these, keeping on top of any changes. You’ll answer questions, process transactions, and always look to find how we can add value. In the process, you’ll achieve your own personal targets, helping us achieve our overall performance targets, and doing the right thing for our customers. Of course, the better you do, the better your rewards.

We’ll give you comprehensive training, so you don’t need a background in financial services or banking. What you do need is a genuine interest in your customers; starting conversations, answering questions, sorting out problems and recommending different services or products. You’ll have a talent for talking to people, understanding what they need and identifying ways for us to help. You’ll also be expert at balancing the necessary paperwork with time spent meeting and talking to customers – and you’ll need to be willing to work on Saturdays.

In January 2015 TSB will become the biggest new entrant to the mortgage intermediaries market in many years. About 60% of mortgages are accessed through brokers, equivalent to £120bn of mortgage lending – so it’s a great opportunity to help more people buy their homes with a TSB mortgage.
