Can’t see yourself working for a bank?

You're our kind of person.

TSB is a different kind of bank. And so we look for a different kind of person to work here. The kind of person who’s interested in working in a culture that’s all about people helping other people, and the communities we all live in, to thrive.

That’s why, unlike other banks, we don’t have sales targets for anyone who works here, from branches to call centres.

We believe in working in partnership with each other and our customers. That’s why we call all our staff Partners, and reward them when they do as much as they can to actively help people, not when they just sell them things.

We’re proud to be different, it makes TSB a great place to work. But don’t just take our word for it. Not only did TSB ‎make the top 30 big companies to work for in 2017, we made the top 10 - and we're the only bank to make the best big company list at all. Not bad for a business that’s just a few years old.

Our current recruitment in focus

You can find lots of information about our vacancies in TSB using the menu at the top of the page. We’ve got a couple of opportunities below though that we’re really excited about and couldn’t wait to share.  Have a look and see if any are right for you.

Women returners in Scotland

We’re working hard in TSB to build a truly diverse and inclusive culture, but we know there is still more to do. One of our main areas of focus is on gender equality. We really want to attract more women into financial services and, more specifically, TSB. To help us on our way we’re involved with a campaign to support women who want to return to work after an extended time away.

We’re partnering with ‘Women Returners’ to set up a pilot scheme around Edinburgh and Glasgow. It’s a brilliant opportunity and we’re really excited about it. To apply, just have a look at the ‘Find a role with us’ tab at the top of the page and use ‘Women Returners’ in the keyword search.

Mortgage Advisors

To support our goal of bringing more competition and choice to the UK market, we’ve got some exciting opportunities for mortgage professionals. We’re searching for people who are CeMap qualified and totally focused on customer service. To make sure we can support our customers when they need us, we’re looking for people with the ability to work flexibly. Both in location and hours.

With local managers on hand to provide support, you’ll be responsible for providing high quality, compliant service to our existing customers, whilst also attracting and welcoming new customers on board. Using your qualifications and proven ability, you'll slot straight into our branch teams in supporting our local communities. Needing to be a team player goes without saying here at TSB, along with great organisation skills and a drive to make a difference with fantastic customer experience.

Temporary roles with TSB

We know that sometimes a temporary role might be just what you’re looking for. If so, then look no further. We’ve got lots of interesting opportunities for people looking for short term placements.

When recruiting for temporary roles, we partner with an organisation called Resource Solutions. They’re a great business who get what TSB is all about and help match us with the right people and skills at the right time.

If you’d like to find out more about the temporary vacancies we’ve got right now, take a look here.

Work Experience

Each year school pupils are encouraged to start thinking about what the future means for them, what their aspirations are and what careers paths they’d like to follow. To help them on their way, many schools allow their pupils to have a work experience week with a company of their choice to start developing the skills they’ll need in the future. And, we’re more than happy to do our bit to help! We know that over 95% of the pupils who’ve previously been on our work experience programme would recommend us as an employer. And, 100% said they’d recommend TSB as a great place to do work experience.

If you’re looking for a week’s work experience placement and would like to see what we do to support the communities we serve and to provide the kind of banking experience people want and deserve, apply now.

A TSB for everyone

It’s not just about awards though. Our customers come from a range of backgrounds and so should our Partners. It helps us better understand customer needs and provide a service that’s right for them.

We work hard to create an inclusive culture where every TSB Partner – regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age or personal situation – should be able to fulfil their potential.

We know that collaboration between people with different styles, skills, backgrounds and cultures encourages innovation, better communication and stronger customer and community relationships.

Working in partnership is a good thing for all

Don’t just take our word for how great we think it is around here though. Take a look for yourself.

A digital business that happens to be a bank.

At TSB we know that financial technology (Fintech) isn’t just the latest fad. It’s an evolving phenomenon that’s growing by the day and changing the way that we all use and think about money. And we couldn’t be more excited about it. Not to mention proud to be a leader in breaking new ground. Being the first bank in Europe whose customers will be able to use Samsung’s iris recognition to log into their mobile banking app is definitely one to feel pretty pleased about.

But we know it’s more than just about mobile apps, online banking or automating every process. It’s about maximising existing technologies as well as introducing some new ones. It’s about using technology to make things easier and more accessible for our customers. Giving them safer, better and more convenient banking.

And being an agile, digital business that happens to be a bank, means being digital from the inside out. That’s why we’re taking the step to be the first major bank in the UK to fully roll out Office 365 as part of our new digital workplace. Our Partners now have access to a whole new platform and tools to make sure we’re fully connected and can work collaboratively and productively together. All whilst we’re on the move.

So to make sure that digital innovation is at the heart of everything we do as we continue to build TSB, we’re always on the lookout for people who understand and know how to harness these evolving technologies.
