Welcome to TSB

At TSB we look for a different kind of person to work here. The kind of person who’s interested in working in a culture that’s all about people. Supporting and encouraging each other through good times and bad and helping the communities we all live in, to thrive.

That’s why, unlike other banks, we don’t have sales targets for anyone who works here, from branches to call centres.

We believe in working in partnership with each other and our customers. That’s why we call all our staff Partners, and reward them when they do as much as they can to actively help people, not when they just sell them things.

At TSB we believe in working in partnership. That’s how we work with our customers and with each other, and it makes TSB a great place to work.

So we’re proud that based on feedback from our Partners we’ve made the top 25 ‘best big companies to work for’ for two years running. And in 2018 we even made the top 5. Not bad for a business that’s just a few years old.

A TSB for everyone

It’s not just about awards though. Our customers come from a range of backgrounds and so should our Partners. It helps us better understand customer needs and provide a service that’s right for them.

We work hard to create an inclusive culture where every TSB Partner – regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age or personal situation – should be able to fulfil their potential.

We know that collaboration between people with different styles, skills, backgrounds and cultures encourages innovation, better communication and stronger customer and community relationships.

Our current recruitment

You can find lots of information about our vacancies in TSB using the menu at the top of the page. We’ve got a couple of opportunities below though that we’re really excited about and couldn’t wait to share.  Have a look and see if any are right for you.

Customer Service Partners - Business Banking, Edinburgh.

To strengthen our support for local businesses, we're looking for people to join our Business Banking team in Edinburgh, as Customer Service Partners. No banking experience is necessary, and while a background in customer service would be great, it's not essential. All we ask for is a talent for talking to people and a flair for understanding what they need and identifying the best way to support them. In return, we'll fully develop you in the role which means you'll easily be able to see your career path in TSB.

The position provides an ideal entry into TSB, so if you have all the information you need then we'd love to receive an application from you. If you still have a few questions, why not come along to our Open Evening on Thursday 22 November. You'll have the chance to find out more about the role and hear directly from some of our Partners about what it's really like to work in our Business Banking team.

Business Banking Open Evening:

Thursday 22 November at 18:00 - 19:00 (we recommend getting here a bit earlier at 17:45)

Henry Duncan House, 120 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4TS

Email careers@tsb.co.uk to confirm attendance.

Fraud Officers - Risk.

We've got some great opportunities that have come up in our Risk team for Fraud Officers.

Risk play a key role for us in keeping our bank safe. Covering everything from fraud, to underwriting and helping our customers borrow well. They provide us expert advice and guidance to make sure we're compliant with regulation and the law. Basically, they're all about delivering the best outcomes for our customers.

These roles in our Application and Post Application Fraud (APAF) team are perfect for recent graduates or school leavers looking to take first steps on the career ladder. Don't worry if you don't have banking experience. Some previous work experience and a willingness to learn is enough to get you started. We'll help you with the rest - the training, the tools and the support to do the job, but also the opportunity to build a lasting career.

The job itself will provide a number of challenges as we fight against fraud. You'll learn how to use tools and technology to investigate potential fraudulent account applications but your problem solving will come into their own as each case is different. The team work with lots of other departments, so you'll be building relationships across our business and able to put your great communication skills to use when speaking with both customers and other Partners in TSB. But more importantly, your passion and desire to help our customers will always be at the heart of everything you do.

If any of these roles sound right up your street, come and join our team.

Temporary roles with TSB

We know that sometimes a temporary role might be just what you’re looking for. If so, then look no further. We’ve got lots of interesting opportunities for people looking for short term placements.

When recruiting for temporary roles, we partner with an organisation called Resource Solutions. They’re a great business who get what TSB is all about and help match us with the right people and skills at the right time.

Don’t just take our word for how great we think it is around here though. Take a look for yourself.
