Welcome to TSB

At TSB we look for a different kind of person to work here. The kind of person who’s interested in working in a culture that’s all about people. Supporting and encouraging each other through good times and bad and helping the communities we all live in, to thrive.

That’s why, unlike other banks, we don’t have sales targets for anyone who works here, from branches to call centres.

We believe in working in partnership with each other and our customers. That’s why we call all our staff Partners, and reward them when they do as much as they can to actively help people, not when they just sell them things.

At TSB we believe in working in partnership. That’s how we work with our customers and with each other, and it makes TSB a great place to work.

So we’re proud that based on feedback from our Partners we’ve made the top 25 ‘best big companies to work for’ for two years running. And in 2018 we even made the top 5. Not bad for a business that’s just a few years old.

A TSB for everyone

It’s not just about awards though. Our customers come from a range of backgrounds and so should our Partners. It helps us better understand customer needs and provide a service that’s right for them.

We work hard to create an inclusive culture where every TSB Partner – regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age or personal situation – should be able to fulfil their potential.

We know that collaboration between people with different styles, skills, backgrounds and cultures encourages innovation, better communication and stronger customer and community relationships.

Our current recruitment

You can find lots of information about our vacancies in TSB using the menu at the top of the page. We’ve got some opportunities below though that we’re really excited about and couldn’t wait to share.  Have a look and see if any are right for you.

Opportunities in IT

IT in TSB is changing. We're looking to build up our inhouse IT capability to give us more control over the fantastic new technology we've launched into our business. At the same time, it's a great opportunity to simplify how we do things and the service relationships we have with our 3rd parties.

So we're excited to say we're building a number of new teams, based mainly in our Edinburgh office on George Street. We're kicking things off with vacancies in our Workplace Services team. This is the team that helps colleagues across TSB do their jobs brilliantly, with the technology they use everyday. This includes:

- User Support

- IT Support Desk

- Technical Platform Support

- Branch & ATM Support

- Networks

We're looking for people with the skills and enthusiasm to drive and implement these changes and help TSB become a market leader in IT systems integration. If this is sparking your interest and you'd like to be part of the journey, take a closer look at our vacancies here.

You can also hear Sally Aitken, our Head of Workplace Services, talk about the roles in her team in a short video here on LinkedIn.

If these types of role aren't quite right for you though, keep an eye out as we've got more roles coming soon in these areas:

- Run the Bank Service & Operations

- Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery

- Transition to Operations

It's an exciting time for us - come and be a part of it!

Risk Analysts & Senior Risk Analysts - Bristol & Gloucester

We've got some great opportunities within the Capital & Impairment team in our Risk function. We're looking for a mix of people with strong numeracy and analytical skills who enjoy working as part of a team and thrive on looking for ways to improve the way things are done.

Lending money to our customers is a major part of what we do but unfortunately not everyone is able to pay us back. The Capital & Impairment team use statistical models to predict potential losses, so that we can make sure we always have the financial resources to cope.

If you join the team as an Analyst, you'll quickly take responsibility for monthly reporting, or forecasting what the future holds for one of our lending portfolios. We'll make sure you're supported by more experienced members of the team to develop your analytical skills, as well as your knowledge of banking regulation. These roles are perfect for recent graduates with a mathematical discipline.

For Senior Analysts, you'll use your existing analytical skills and knowledge of IRB and IFRS9 to support TSB with monthly reporting or forecasting and stress testing. We'll make sure you gets lots of support to build your knowledge of TSB and develop your skills. Ideally candidates will have around 2 years' experience in an analytical role, with the ability to programme.

If either of these roles sound right for you, and you have the ambition to drive and develop a great career experience with TSB we'd love to hear from you.

Customer Service Partners - Business Banking, Edinburgh

To strengthen our support for local businesses, we're looking for people to join our Business Banking team in Edinburgh as Customer Service Partners. No banking experience is necessary, and while a background in customer service would be great, it's not essential. All we ask for is a talent for talking to people and a flair for understanding what they need and identifying the best way to support them. In return, we'll develop you in the role, which means you'll easily be able to see your career path in TSB.

Take a look at the vacancy for more information and details of how to apply.

Temporary roles with TSB

We know that sometimes a temporary role might be just what you’re looking for. If so, then look no further. We’ve got lots of interesting opportunities for people looking for short term placements.

When recruiting for temporary roles, we partner with an organisation called Resource Solutions. They’re a great business who get what TSB is all about and help match us with the right people and skills at the right time.
